Frouds Bridge - Hungerford and back

OFFICIAL: Due to the current high rainfall and consequent High flow conditions it would be unwise to attempt navigation of the Lower Kennet and or R Thames, especially if we want restfull nights ;)

Late start then From Frouds Bridge, lunch at Wollhampton then along the Krypton factor course to Newbury.

Uneventfull trip from Frouds Bridge to Newbury, with rain hail wind and suny spells. Moored up in Victoria park for an evening on the boat.

Sat 22nd March

Easter Saturday

Continue west via Kintbuy to the most unfriendly town on the canals, Hungerford.

From Hungerford to Little Bedwyn for dinner at The Harrow   Reservation sent, awaiting confirmation.

A Cold wet windy day with snow and hail. The major hazard being the wind. Eventually tied up at Hungerford around 16:30 and arranged Taxi to take us to Little Bedwyn for Dinner.

Dinner at The Harrow was excellent, highly recommended.

Return via Hungerford, stopping at Marsh Benham, dinner at the Red House.

Luch on the move in Newbury and then back to the Boatyard at Frouds Bridge.
